Screen and wind break will be in during early part of the season but club won't commit to a definate date yet. Temporary facilities up and running at the Michelin, but planning permission is ongoing for permanent facilities. All new gym equipment been delivered this week to the training ground.

I have two points to make. 1) There is a huge pile of chairs behind the white wall, you can see them poking over the top. 2) It looks like a toilet cubicle with a picture of Sir Stan on it ;D

Am I the only one who is slightly disappointed by the dugouts? How people were building them up, I was expecting Recaro racing seats and it be set back a lot further than that ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/ibnJJzaA6ZhfTOIekEAf.gif)

Exactly.. considering people have built the all new screenup to be some kind of fantastic all singing all dancing Plasma, I'm getting the feeling we'll be getting Tony Scholes' bedroom portable TV? ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/ibnJJzaA6ZhfTOIekEAf.gif)

It really wouldn't fucking surprise me really.. All new dugout that would look Premiership and all we get is another row of seats with a dugout that's split into three.. Now.. I don't know about anyone else but that is a fucking disappointment and half.. I hate being negative but hey-ho.. you hear something and you hope the club runs with it.. This big screen best be of the expectations we have raised on here or else all this ground improvement will be a massive anti-climax ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/ibnJJzaA6ZhfTOIekEAf.gif)

There oddly is a striking resemblance to Mr McGowan! ![:o](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/7TTgAtwUz19SBi0cvrCX.gif) The dug outs for all they've been bigged up look shite. Do that have 2 rows of seats? As I can only count 6 seats in that picture. Basically they are same as the old just bigger! ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/4tzqvp1fxEemag_TAXLJ.gif)

Don't know if you saw 'Soccer Cities' this week S- the scrummy Jamie Yeo was at the Emirates Stadium, she is an Arsenal fan.
Was interesting re their dug outs- Wenger himself said no Recaro seats- he wanted his players to sit in the same seats as the supporters and made a point of this when the stadium was being built.
Not saying for one second we did that but didn't Broxap pay for the new dug outs? Surprised we haven't got street benches if that's the case.
Is fairly academic what the dug-outs look like to be honest- nice to see the stadium having a spruce up all over and certainly looks the part. When the new track and Video screen in will have a stadium well worthy of the Prem IMHO.
I hope they got Sooty after he wrecked the old dug outs.

But fair enough for the players sitting on the same seats as supporter . . however I did kind of think they'd look a little bit more substantial than your average bus shelter! But I do agree the stadium is looking great and once the big screen is up it'll look fantastic! Can't wait see it for real next month! ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/kwfoKwtHI0jglJZ4qZf6.gif)

Considering that the tannoy system was supposed to improved I could hardly hear the announcer in the seddon stand.
When he was announcing the Stoke team, it sounded like Norman Collier was doing it.

i agree. Sound system in the Seddon stand was rubbish. What have Stoke spent on this system and was it checked as the old one was far better in the Seddon stand last season!!

Couldnt hear it in the Boothen either, not when announcing the teams anyway. The bits you could hear, ie when the subsitutions were made... were much clearer and crisper than they sounded on the old one imo BUT even then it was a struggle to hear as it just wasnt loud enough.

who gives a shit what the dugouts are. It's as if you are all playing football manager where you spent £20,000 on new dugouts, only to find you still don't have the best in your computer game. As long as the stadium looks smart, all that matters are the results, which we got today, so I am happy!
