The Hibs thing a bit clearer now !!
"The 48-year-old's departure comes just a day after former Fulham midfielder John Collins's sudden resignation as Hibernian manager.
The ex-Scotland midfielder's exit sparked a flurry of rumours that he may return to Craven Cottage. "

I must admit, in spite of what he did at NI, I really don't like the man. Just a moaner who continually blames officials for his bad results, whilst ignoring the decisions that go his way.........and those awful, Joe 90 glasses

Remember that 5-1 spanking we gave to Wycombe six years ago? The one where Bjarni got their bloke sent off. Some quality whinging from Sanchez after that match!

Where's Ian bleating on about these "old school" managers when you need him?

If people think Pulis is a footballing Dinosaur, Sanchez is the daddy of them all. Terrible terrible man when it comes to football. He only kept Fulham up last season because Liverpool fielded a reserve side against them, thus handing them the points they needed for survival.

Depending who came in, they are in a bit (more) of a pickle now as Sanchez got a lot of players in & all to play his way (hoof it up top asap).
(Remember, Claus Jensen basically left because he arrived, citing that Sanchez didn't want footballers.)
Not that it would bother most if they did drop - they are still there under false pretences (Alf fly-head's cash) if you ask me.

Where's Ian bleating on about these "old school" managers when you need him? Ian has finally registered on here, Dixie. He posted on the sticky, Official Fuller thread the other night.

I'm surprised and think that Fulham will be relegated now. Sanchez is a guy I have a lot of time for and I'm sure he will be back in the game soon.

I was surprised as well to be honest. I do honestly believe that they have got enough to stay clear of trouble, especially with McBride due back soon. I think he's a victim of circumstance (collins) as much as anything else.
I still don't think Sanchez is up to much though, but the players he bought were decent ones.

Sanchez is a limited manager and an unpleasant individual to boot. This news comes as no surprise, managing at this level was way beyond his capabilities. Nor is it a surprise to discover my old mucker, the " Mr Delighted by Dour" ;-) Ianrb on here singing Sanchez's praises!

Well, he's only won two games all season. Ianrb, I only wish your wish had been fulfilled and he'd got the England job.
Remember Ianrb, if they get relagated its not because they sacked sanchez. They were on the way down anyway...thats why he was sacked.
On a personal level I was enjoying him managing Fulham. Despite a big soft spot I started to want them to lose and the usually did!

You see, this is where you let yourself down Ian. Sanchez is the manager who's taken Fulham to third bottom of the league with just two wins out of 17 league matches.
The man's not good enough and Fulham have recognised that.
They might well go down now, but it'll have nothing to do with their decision to sack Sanchez. You can kid yourself all you want that they would stay up if they'd have kept faith with him, but that's just not the reality.

Fulham don't actually have a bad squad. Despite my dislike of Sanchez I honestly thought he could get wins out of them. I thought he was a batter manager than he is.
If they go down it'll be a sort of justice after the way they treated Chris Coleman.
