I'm trying to bring a file of templates I downloaded into Photoshop to work on but whenever I try and open them it says they are the wrong kind of document.
Does anyone know anything I can do to make them work?
Cheers

Change them to an appropiate format, then open them in Photoshop.

what sort of templates are they? actions? or image files?
or are they zip/rar files in which case you'll need to extract them first before importing them into photoshop...

How would I go about extracting the files? (They're RAR format)
And they're image files

How would I go about extracting the files? (They're RAR format) And they're image files You can extract them by downloading WinRar. it's a freeware programme bit like WinZip. Just google for it. dead easy.

intheprem do you have WinRAR? If not download it for free HereThen just double click the .RAR file and it will show you the contents in a popup window, highlight all the files and click extract...choose where to extract them to (just 'My Documents' or your Desktop or something) and you should see the actual files as image files or as they should be
