Yes...My friends, the lamentable 'Darkside' has now come to pass.
It fought it's corner bravely, but lacked the foresight and intellectual footballing expertise that myself and other esteemed observers knew would eventually end in tears.
We can now hopefully look forward to a more united front, and one that doesn't revert back to character assassinations of the team manager and internal squabbling.
May I take this opportunity to commend the virtuous support given to Tony from the likes of Ianrb,AGSF,Potters22,Sneyd Green Stokie,The Mighty Fornside..and many others too numerous to mention.

mumf, the phrase "come to pass" means "happen," not "die."
I think you were looking for "passed away."
