I have seen worse teams, and obviously better. I reckon 70-80% of championship teams play in a similar mould. Sometimes we play some technically awesome football.
The poor football seems to be just an excuse for the no-goers to have a moan?

At times this season when down at the Brit i've been excited as to the standard of football we can actually play. I aint seen football played like i've seen this season for a long long time.
I get a buzz and lots of happy memories of being back at the Vic.
This must be the best we seen since being at the Brit, but i'm not getting to carried away because we do get the constant reminder of how bad we can play and the long ball game, but hey im not complaining because its working.

Sometimes we play good football sometimes we don't simple as that really, the problem is we don't have someone who can put his foot on the ball when we are playing poor so we end up playing long balls forward. Hopefully this will change when Diao starts playing

No team in this league plays fantastic football all of the time.
Some Stoke fans think it's just us though.

We Qualified for this league , Go and Compete - Game is about been effective, been aggressive , winning the ball , getting on with the play ,. put them under pressure .... its not going to be easy for us but its not going to be easy on them as we inflict our game on the people , put them under pressure - we got a game to win - put them under pressure

Any football team that wants to do well has to be able to compete. To play with the ball you have to win the ball. The Milan side of the three Dutchmen.....do you think they couldn't handle themselves if it got physical? Arsenal are top and usually play fantastic stylish stuff BUT almost every side they come up against tries to muscle them out but it can't be done. Its all part of the same thing.....NOGGER!!!  |
