As we approach the all important Christmas period, where seasons can be lost and won, what (in your opinion) would be an acceptable amount of points to pick up over our four games.
West Brom (h) – I would say are the best footballing team in the championship. I know we always win against the baggies, but realistically I think a draw would be a great result.
Barnsley (a) - Plodding around just above mid table. A game we should defiantly be looking to win if were going to make a real push of it.
Plymouth (a) – Wont be an easy game, Plymouth are trying to force a playoff place. I would be happy with a point.
Hull (h) - should be a definite win against these boys.
So all in all I would be happy with 8 points from our Christmas games. 9 would be great. Anything else would be brilliant.

Agree with most of that but 3 points at Barnsley is a mighty big ask for any Stoke City team! I'd settle for a draw!
I think 6pts is the minimum we should hope for with anything else a bonus.

I reckon 7 points is about 'par', looking at those fixtures. Only Hull at home looks a banker.
Mind you - with the return of Salif during this period, and the whole feel-good thing going on - who's to say we can't win the lot? Can't remember the last time we had a really good run over the Christmas period. Anybody tell me the last time we won at least 3 out of 4?

West Brom (h) – Always win (and there's no chance of any Squirrels getting in tomorrow, not with you know who off 'ere about) Barnsley (a) - Always loose Plymouth (a) – A point would be a really really good result dine thee-er Hull (h) - should be a definite win against these boys, as yer say Ben, or we want shooting (like last season) So 7-points would be good ... owt more than that, and we'll have excelled ourselves (very good) ;0) ah

Not being defeatist but given the combination of quality opposition and banana skins I'd be happy with anything over 6 points.
