Have heard that Pulis did everything in his power to stop Ricci staying at Stoke.
His failure to oust Ricci will have put a big dent in his plans to ruin Stoke City FC.
Apparently Ricci commented:
"I've stayed here at Stoke, not because of the manager, but despite him".

People like Fuggers think that if you don't like Pulis, people dont applaud what he's done. I don't like the man, i think his tactics are at times shocking to say the least, i hate hi post match comments like "we need a bit of quality" - all the players in the team he basically signed, so to say we need quality he's himsef syaing his buys havent been god enought...But still I cant fault the teams effort and comitment.. And his loan signings and capturing Fuller for another 3 years. Theres 2 pages of well done TP and Stoke City and the Fuller signs thread
