Credit to yourselves and Stoke City Football Club for the way that you all made some very poorly children feel on top of the world.
No trouble to anyone in making those children feel so special and Marlon Broomes in particular made my Daughter feel like a million dollars.
Upon the players giving out presents and upon them being opened different children had different types of posters and Marlon asked my Daughter "why not go around and ask all of the players to sign your present". She replied "i feel really tired but if you're offering" and lo and behold he went around and got everyone to sign it for her.
Ricardo went on to play that air soccer game with our Daughter and enjoyed it so much when he did one of those dancing jigs after scoring a goal so needless to say she let him score another ;D.
Great time was had by all and once again many thanks to all who made those childrens day so so special.
I stated to Ricardo there is no pressure but if west Brom score 1 on Saturday then i want 2 from you. Afterwards Ricardo stated that he would score.
Go oarnnnnnnnnnn the boys.

It's nice to see the players going to the Donna Louise Trust and the Hospital putting hopes into the hearts of young kids. It just gives me a warm feeling inside as a Stoke fan to see them doing this sort of stuff. Well done lads and hope Your daughter gets better soon Tazi! And lets hope Ric gets a hat-trick!

A pity that she did'nt let Sidibie have a go!! A nice gesture from the club though, perhaps they are starting to get things right at last.

Just wanted to add my thanks to the Stoke players for visiting the DLT yesterday. Had a 'phone call from my brother, Phill who was there with his son, Cameron. Phill 'phoned to say that the players were there. He gave me the best laugh yesterday, when he turnes to one guy and asked "Are you a player?" to which he replied that he was and who he was. Phill then said to me,"It's Jon Parker" ;D. Spent a couple of minutes having a really good natter to him (Jon Parkin) on the phone (after I'd put Phill right on the name!! ) Once again, well done Stoke, and all the very best to you and yours, Tazi

Great to hear tazi, its brilliant to see the players getting involved with the fans especially those less fortunate to see them on a Saturday. A far cry from the prem players who seem to be wrapped in their own ego's and think they are more important than the average fan.
Well done Stoke City.

Was great to see the players caring about all of those children and they were a real credit.
No ammount of anything could buy the joy that was seen upon those poorly childrens faces.

Good on the players for supporting such a worthy local charity. I was inspired by them to add the Donne Louise Trust charity to my fundraising for next year! I wish all the children & their families all the best for Christmas & New Year with all my positive thoughts going their way. www.justgiving.com/classicrocknewswireAlso I am raising funds for the Nordoff-Robbins music therapy charity and thanks to the following bands who have added a link to the fundraising page... UFO, Waysted, Ten Years After, Del Broham & Stray, Vinnie Moore, Dave Burns, the Taz Taylor Band, the Heavy Metal Kids and the journalist Dave Ling. Stars one and all! Thanks as well to Bernie Torme & GMT who plugged the website at their recent run of UK gigs. www.justgiving.com/fortynights

PPD. All the best in raising funding for both of your chosen charaties. I dont give donations via the internet but if donations are collected by hand then i would be more than willing to donate. I my-self dont particularly do fund raising stuff but i have always donated monies whenever i am in a position to do so.
