I think we should bid for this lad. He was quality against us and is a good prospect imo. Blackpool fans reckon a million would get him-is that too much?

Good shout Bayen, The thing the really pleases me is that we are talking about signing players from clubs first teams for serious money and not cast offs no body else wants. Times are a changin

I liked it how Nige called him "Hooligan" the other day.

I thought he was their best player on Saturday. Blackpool don't seem to be flush with cash so I expect they would let him go if they could turn a decent (and quick) profit on him. I suspect that they would want Dicko or Wilko as part of the deal though as they do need to strengthen. I'd be happy to see Dicko go as part of a deal but I would want to keep Wilko who I think is the better footballer.

Hoolihan would be a great signing a young player with a growing reputation and if we could sign this kind of player ahead of others it would show a real change in direction for the better.

Potterslog ' I liked it how Nige called him "Hooligan" the other day'. Oddly fella the name allegedly developed fro the name Hooligan- the Hooligans were a notorious Irish family who used to beat up English folk on a Friday night after pay-day mainly leaving the local pubs and 'relieve' them of their weekly earnings- you can't blame folk for not wanting to be associated with them.

Either way, everytime Blackpool looked dangerous, it ws because of him. He's able to turn a defender with ease.
