They were Premier League Champions 12 years ago. Since then, the sugar daddy whou bought that title for them has died, they've suffered a relegation, and languished in mediocrity for years. They're still fairly wealthy, but nowhere near as wealthy as they were.
In that context, I'd say it was good enough. You won't find many Blackburn fans disagreeing.
You're entitled to your opinion Mugglers, I just took issue with your suggestion that Blackburn's style of play doesn't work when it has worked for them, both in the league and in this game.

They've hardly dominated though - it could have gone either way. I realize it's a second-string Arsenal side but they've hardly run rings around them as you suggested earlier - it just goes to show the resources available to the big four as well as Wenger's undoubted ability to find talent.

The pulis style of play has done well for blackburn, Bolton, Will do for newcastle inthe end and nearly kept up sheff united last year bar the cheats
