uk.youtube.com/watch?v=PCXHbCYvzjI&NR=1No doubt S-o-T will be ridden with an excessive amount of police on Saturday. Came across this just and thought it would bring a little bit of fun back into the atmosphere and singing something like this to them instead of the usual 'Harry Roberts' crap! ???

A personal favorite of mine was the age old classic of " Old Mc Donald" . " With a nick nick here and a nick nick there"

You amaze me guys, you think you can take the Pisss out of the law and when you are nicked you all come on here crying. I have seen the saga so many times, people volunteering to give evidence that never materialises and in the end the brave guy pleads guilty. Get a life chaps.

moorlander it's a bit of fun to sing at a football match. Everyone was singing at the police last year at west brom and a number of them found it funny themselves.

Donsmith,It was the West Brom game I was referring to,do you remember the guy on here crying he had been arrested. It just so happens it was the same guy who tried to make the Police stupid in the pub by taking the pisss. What goes round comes round fellows.

Bloody hell, didn't realise taking the piss out of someone was an arrestable offence.

I'm not a hooligan, not a trouble maker. Don't fight or anything like that on nights out but.. at football the police cause more trouble than they stop, even up Hanley they do. They see a young lad, late teens early twenties they stereotype as a football hooligan and the police target ya. I've been at games where police have called me and others around me bastards, twats, pricks..you name it. Seen lads pushed and told to fuck off. They come bowling in, with weapons out on horses with dogs for no reason, it's going to wind up the most calm of men. S don't give me the "dis-respect for the law" crap. Police at football think that they are high and mighty, then wind people up they react, get arrested. Copper gets a nice little bonus.

I have a total disrespect for the police but not the law.i wonder what the percentage of police want to help the community and how many want a "good job"
In general coppers were probably bullied at school and had no respect, perhaps also slightly stupid compared to their class mates.this made them sad and crave attention. Unable to get any power in the real world they joined the police as they have a badge and a big stick. This is shown worst at football and evenings where they have a big crowd to demonstrate how aaarrd and important they now are and a crowd upsets them as they feel like the outsider again.
and before anyone crys who would you call if you were in trouble, not the police, tried it twice when burgled, they came the day after and never caught him.also had a motor bike stolen the police didnt even come i was given a crime number over the phone.
twats.

wembleyofthenorth, Yep I've heard of 'good cop - bad cop', but just have a rethink about what you've just written and imagine a world without the police.
It's also funny because I dare say that I get out just as often as you do, but surprise, surprise, I don't ever seem to get involved with the sort of coppers you seem to know so well.
OK, there are a few bad apples, but eh! there are also a few moronic Stoke fans, but that shouldn't tar us all with the same brush, should it?

no i agree, and understand they are needed, i just question the motives of some.my post was tongue in cheek. I have seen too much overzelous policing at football and to a lesser extent weekends, not been on the recieving end to the point of arrest. but witnessed it many times. It is the attitude that riles me at the football the your shit i'm in charge, smug, move along sir, mentality, you must have seen this at away games. (especially away at wales and midlands teams) I dont think they would attempt this anywhere else other than at a football match. I dont know why this is? perhaps it is the reputation of stoke that you mention? god knows. plus i'm bitter as they couldnt get my gear back.
