From today's Sentinel, Matteo says that it is unlikely he'll be ready for the Newcastle game. Personally, I don't think that we're missing him and is an average squad player that can step in 'to do a job'. The only reason I think we miss him at the moment is becasue our squad lacks depth rather than him bringing any quality to our starting 11.
However, my favourite quote in the article is right at the end when he comments "To be fair, I'd prefer to be around the lads anyway because I don't like missing out on the crack." ;D

If and its a big if Uncle Peter and TP keep to there promise of some signings in January, then I really can't see Matteo having to many more games for us. Yes he is a good squad player, but with his injuries and advancing years it might be worth letting him go in January. Sorry Dom was bought in to do a job and he has have done it but if theres any interest in him then its time to go.
