Thye talk about them needing to sign these two or 3 players. There talk of them been after Ryan. If you were Derby boss woud you seriously be thinking about making signings. Barring a mirricle they will get relegated regardless who they buy. So it is just a waste of money.

i understand we all love stoke but if we offer a player £4k-£5k a week and then Derby offers £10K + the chance to say "i'm a premiershit player" why do ppl think players will pick Stoke? It aint going to happen. Sadly money talks and Ryan is a young lad but if and when Derby come down they are going to have 1 hell of a good chance of going straight back up. This year the bottom premiership team gets £30m more than for winning the Champions league. If Derby are truly interested in Shawcross i really see are best chance of keeping him is that Fergie decides to keep him by offering a contract and then letting him stay on loan. If it goes to a transfer bidding battle between us and any premier club we got no chance.
