Well theres plenty of hype at the minute regarding Capello and his backroom staff. What the papers and radio are asking, should Capello have an Englishman as a right hand man such as Pearce or should he have the freedom to choose his own.
Well judging by the list of possible candidates he's likely to bring in Maldini etc, etc then I say let him get on with it and bring in the absolute best he can find.
Should make for an interesting couple of years!!

I can remember that utter prat Ian Wright moaning when Sven got the job saying an Englishman should have it- well he got his way in the end and look what happened.
He should be allowed to pick who he wants - if he's from Myanmar it shouldn't matter as long as he feels he has the right man

I agree, making him to work with someone like Shearer, Adams etc seemingly isn't what he wants.
If we are to get the best out of him as manager he needs a team around him that he is entirely happy with. A token Englishman in the setup may appease some folk but it's not the best solution.
I'd imagine he'll choose a team he's worked with before and a team he thinks can take England forward, this may ruffle a few feathers, so be it.

Its probably best he has someone who understands him, so that rules out an Englishman!

No point in having him if we are going have some back streeter in the background.

Ray Wilkins and David Platt were mentioned because they speak fluent Italian!!
Poor reason if you ask me, I think the FA could be accused of wanting an Englishman on the inside just to keep them informed!!

Ray Wilkins!?
We need to keep this man as far away from the England setup as possible. Let him carry on creaming over Chelsea for Sky.

Agrees,
He shold be able bring who he wants. The most probablt, for me would be Pearce. But there will problems with the language barrier. i wouldn't mind seeing Platt having something to do with the set up. He cab bring a little bit of knowledge and will help with the language barrier...

This also means we have a possibility of Cudicini in GK for England .

He should be given a completely free reign in my opinion. In fact, I think I'd prefer he has no English assistant alongside. There's just too much familiarity and back slapping amongst the English game and that's why we see the same old, same old returning to squad after squad and irrespective of whether they fail or not. EVERY fucker is World Class in England if you listen to English Football folk.
Start from scratch Fabio, make up your own mind, pick them on merit, sod em off if they fail.

He should be allowed to bring in his own backroom staff and assistant, but he should also have a coach alongside him from England, in my opinion. Other than that, he can have who he likes.

To do the job to the best of his ability he needs to have the people he knows and trusts. If they aren't English so be it. There's an idea that it would give an English coach experience to help become the manager but it doesn't work like that.

doesn't really what nationality they are, they just need to get the best out of the players and get them performing how they do in the premiership every week.

Capello should have everything he wants to give him the best chance of success. That way there are no excuses for failure.
