This board gets my vote. I have to say if rivals got its shit together then I think most of us would gravitate back there.
As I understand it, Rivals provides an income stream for Smudge which he absolutely deserves. It also makes us part of a much bigger network. Apart from the standard banter and information sharing, I would miss the occassional buffoonery from some of the Cardiff lot ...and who was that tool from Notts Forest who kept making an arse of himself for a while - priceless.
So I am here as long as this is the best Stoke MB on the net. If Rivals sorts itself out I will probably revert back. In the meantime, I think Smudge should put some PPC ads onto this site while we are all here. I might be able to swing a bit of budget to buy a small banner for my own company - anything to lend a hand.

If we stay on this board then the avatars need to be censored - otherwise a large number of users are blocked out (and some of em are big enough to block out the light! lol)

Yeah, I'd like something like the old Rivals.
Be careful with Google ads. If a person just clicks on loads then I think Google just cancel the payment for those clicks because they aren't real business.

It's mainly a mystery to me. Am I alone in not knowing what is an Avatar or 'back button' etc?
I find it too busy and less easy on the eye, which is all very well if you have plenty of time, I suppose.
Really like the fact that the numberof responders and readers is indicated and remember asking why this could not be so, on the previous board.
Dislike the last sentence additional comments, be they funny, daft, harmless or plain vulgar. Just another part to read, distract or infuriate.
And who makes the comments on the left re the poster?!
Still can't understand those - often including Smudge!!!! - who now find the 'smileys' easy, when they were so, before. Even I could use them!
From so many comments, it seems that the ideal MB would be one with a mixof both. I supose this is not possible?
