Anyone on here use Macafee for their internet security? Ive just subscribed to wireless boradband with O2 and the Macafee security suite comes free with the O2 package.
Ive installed it on my PC but I am having problems with the free updates. Everytime I log on I get a message telling me that it needs to perform an update but when I proceed it just brings up a blank white screen and does nothing. Ive tried googling the problem and it seems quite common with other Macafee users. The longer I leave it the more outdated my software becomes making me more vunerable to spam and unwanted pop ups etc...
Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone know what I am best doing??

I work in IT Security, and am happy to confirm the comments made by Klang & Spiderman. Don't touch it, use AVG instead. It's free for a start-off. For home firewalling, try www.zonealarm.com because that's free and it is owned by and uses Check Point Technology, who make the best firewalls in the world. Hope this helps.
