Sitting here rather pissed off as my brother accuses me of not being a Stoke fan, He prosumes you have to be a Stoke fan right at the start of your childhood just to be defined as a ''true'' Stoke fan, I found that rather funny considering he was a Vale fan and thought Stanley Matthews passed away aged 52. When I was young everyone in my class supported Manu so I just went with it and said I supported them too, Now i'm 16 and have been a potters fan for nearly 2 years, Been with Stoke through thick and thin and its really starting to do my head in with his comments, I reckon i'm a true Stoke fan but clearly that dickhead tries to put me down on an hourly basis, What do you guys think? P.S I don't mind if you insult my brother ;D You haven't been with them through thick and thin if you only supported them for 2 years. You are not a true supporter until you have watched the lower division shite. |

A real stoke fan is someone who still sticks by them after they lose. Not a fairweather fan who disowns them any time something goes wrong. For instance, people who would stop going if stoke went back down.

i came out of hospital in pain with kidney stones a few hours before the southampton game and went to the game! i went back to hospital afterwards though! |

at the end of the day it doesnt matter what any of us say
its not us that can class you as a stoke fan
do you get butterflies when you come to watch stoke?
when we lose do you feel like crying?
do you constantly check the web/papers/radio/tv for stoke news?
when somebody says stoke are in the prem how do you feel/
i watched the dvd that was for sale on here a rew weeks ago and i'll tell you this, i got tingles up my spine!
even though i knew the outcome i was jumping up and down!
then when we ran on the pitch and the comentator said we were in the prem i was nearly crying
but the reason i feel like this is because i was there when we got relagated by/with man city
i cried that day as well!
so even if we are only up for one season i'm PROUD AS FUCK that we even got here in the first place!
