mart_72, you don't watch it for free on the telly though do you? you have to pay to have sky. it beggars belief that we get a point against the league leaders in what i thought was a decent game, and still there are people who moan. ignore the papers and sky pundits, they just want to see end to end 9 goal thriller football so that they can pass on their expert ??? opinions. listening to dean windass and don goodman last night on big league weekend going on about how we have such a tall physical side and according to goodman our shortest player is cresswell at 6ft, and he reckons it is a good tactic to have but only for this division ??? windyass said you knew what you were in for against stoke, and if you did not stifle us early you would get rolled over. differing opinions one talks a modicum of sense, goodman talks like a cunt. anyone who was at the burnley away game will tell you that was possibly the worst i have seen us play, sunday was a lot better,it must have been, i did not find myself berating any of our players, and came away having enjoyed a 0-0 game.

The game also received some bad write ups in the papers. Could it be that the lazy journalists just picked up where Sky left off? If Fuller had taken one of his chances it would have been represented as a "solid" display as opposed to a dour one.
Thought Delap wrose to the occasion and had his best game yet in Stoke shirt and very pleased with Dicko - but keep practising the passing lad!

"Nail on OS I've fallen over." Pick theesen back up, Merk. I'll soon be back on form the moment we get a boring game. OS.

It was a Championship game of football, no more, no less.

It's funny how anyone who says anything less than complimentary about us is a fool, and anyone who backs up the way we play is a genius.
For the record, overall on Sunday I came away happy, but the first half was very poor. Second half was much better. The game-plan on Sunday was still to keep it tight at the back and hope to get lucky up front. That should be clear to even the most ardent Tony Pulis fan. Stoke fans will accept that as OK, but it's no suprise that neutrals are less than enthusiastic about it.
