How long does everyone think it will be till he is back in the england fold has picked up 7 wickets so far in the match against leciester and got 5-30 in the first innings.
Ive always like him as an international bowler he was awesome against the aussies when we won the ashes shame hes missed so much cricket due to injuries as i feel he could of been an england legend had he of been lucky with injuries

He'd certainly be in the set-up if he could prove his fitness. He is also a lot shorter than most quickies so with Sidebottom's swing & Broad & Flintoff's bounce, he'd offer a credible alternative.
I wish they'd fuck Bell off though, and Collingwood. neither of them have it for me....i mean how many chances will Bell get?

agree with bell i hate him with a passion and feel their are much better players in the county game who deserve a chance seems as though when the selectors are just about to give him the push he comes back with a stunning innings what saves him from the drop Collingwood to me is a better one day player and would be goo as a one day specialist i think when/if freddie comes back into the england team we may see collingwood drop out or even bell for freddie

What was the Warwickshire bloke's name? Bowled a bit of swing and batted well? his first name began with a D?
He could only play one-dayers....he was wank at everything else.......
On the batting, i'd like to see Shah get the same chances afforded to Collingwood:
Vestan Ashes XI
A Cook A Strauss M Vaughan O Shah K Pietersen A Flintoff T Ambrose S Broad R Sidebottom S Jones M Panesar

Yes Sidders, more solid bat. Vital for a 5/5 line up.
IMHO of course.

His glovework is mainly tidy and he look slike he can score runs. Mustard would be fine too, they are similar players.
And he's fucking miles better than Gerraint jones, who could barely keep and hardly scored at all.

Don't you join in with that cunter. He's only jealous you know. he goes to football and doesn't really understand it so trying to explain the delicate intricacies of the game of cricket would be inexorably pointless.

Beginning of a new sentence requires a capital letter you twat.
I wish I knew about glovework, silly points and inside-legs.

I follow County Cricket and i would like to see Lewis from Gloucestershire in the side. Simon Jones is a great bowler but he needs to move to a bigger club. Is he still at Glamorgan or not? I would give the caption role to someone else because kevin is not ready.

Biggest lie you'll ever here #1 Vestan has batted against Wasim Akram when he played in the Birmingham League for West Bromwich. You can say what you like, pissflap, it doen't make it any less true. I've not claimed to have pinged him round the park for a glorious 100 have I? No, i got bowled on the fourth ball, but he bowled it. So balls to you.

I see there is some confusion here.
Simon Jones now plays for Worcester. You weren't belittling my county, you were belittling the Welsh.
Please carry on.

this thread has really gone down the pan, but i'll add my thoughts:
I like ambrose as keeper because he makes comedy noises as the batsman's stroke finishes, such as "goooy" and "woaaaaar".

Well I have played against him in 1999. He was playing for Smethwick in what I think is now called the Cockspur cup!
