Was amazed to see this story earlier about a kid who in a English G.C.S.E exam was asked...
Describe the room that you are sitting in.
His response was 'Fuck off' which was worthy of 2 of the 27 marks available!!! WTF!
The reasons for getting the 2 marks were that it showed the very basic skills required, showed accurate spelling and effective communication.
It was also stated that if the phrase was punctuated it would have received a higher mark.
So maybe 'Fuck off! You're a c***.' could have got 4 marks ;D
Who says exams are getting easier???

No information regarding if he passed but 2 out of 27 on 1 question doesn't look good.

Friend of mine is history teacher in Totnes school and told me about an answer given in last years mock GCSE history exam:
Q: Discuss 1215 signing of Magna Carta and how was it celebrated in the UK.
A: Spanish striker Magna Carta was finally signed by Man Utd today at 1215 despite huge interest from other premier clubs. At 1230 Fergie took all players down the pub for a pint to celebrate.
