I know it’s a bit early. I suppose that’s the point.
There’s this really annoying woman at work, I mean nails down a blackboard annoying, who has already started telling Alexa to play Christmas songs!
Luckily I don’t work in the same office otherwise I’d put a hammer through it.
But I went over today and thought wtf?🤷🏻♂️
Everyone else looked totally fed up of it apart from the dim witted bint playing them and shrieking along like a demented banshee.
Am I being irrational? I’m not am I?
I allow it during the last week before Christmas break up in my office and tbh since they’re all men they aren’t arsed either way.

Problem is it's been the same Christmas music for the last million years. I'm already sick of it by the time it raised its head this time of year--every year. Artists, AI, anyone, I implore you to write some new songs, don't just cover the same drivel year in and year out. It's tiresome.

My rule is that I dont want to hear any of it until the 1st December at which point I dont mind and I have my own playlist on Spotify which I'll use. As with any music you can easily over play it but its more noticable with novelty music like christmas songs. I'm glad I dont work in an environment where I have to listen to other peoples music tastes on a daily basis.

Our 3 year grandson has learned “When Santa got stuck up the chimney” he’s singing it on repeat, magical hearing him singing it regardless of how many times a day and where he is with us when he’s singing it, He had lots of admirers in Morrison’s/Nantwich last night,
He’s a rubbish singer mind and often gets the words mixed up but it’s so cute.
