I've just spotted one on my Ticketmaster (spit) newsletter, Parkway Drive - like a 1950s cigarette brand.
Anymore you can name? Obviously none of them supported World of Twist.

Always considered Kiss to be a pretty shit name. Then you've got the likes of Kenny,Mud, Smokie and The Pet Shop Boys to name a few. Pet Shop Boys is a great name for a band - sounds like a New York hip hop group when in actual fact it's two electro-disco barn stormers. |

On a tangent... I wonder what the first ever 'created' band name was and when that was. I guess there's been names like The Halle Orchestra, The Trevor Coxon trio, or The Billy Cotton Big band and the like forever but who was it who first decided to call their band Mouldy Potato?
