He’s just not that good is he? Like if you signed for a million or two you’d be thinking he was ok value but he just leaves a lot to be desired. He’s fucking class. Tanganga is possibly the best centre back in the division. Cooper and Tanganga possibly the best centre back pairing. Cannon caused them trouble with his movement all day. And he refused to be bullied. Kicking them back twice as hard. I love him. Disappointing he couldn’t convert one of the half chances that came his way but overall another excellent performance. Half chances? The one in the first minute was a sitter. He had time to control it and pick his spot. Terrible miss! |

Thought he did alright generally today. He’s not quick but makes clever runs. The chance in the first minute he should have put his laces through. Best striker we’ve had for a long time though

The honest assessment is, we'd be absolutely screwed if he got injured.
Hes a very good player, and just keeps improving over time.
He'll easily get well into double figures.
Hes the centre forward we've wanted and needed for a long time.

Getting a lot better at the dirty work you need a striker to do. He's never going to be able to play like Gallagher, but he is at least challenging in the air, pressing defenders and constantly making runs.
He has to finish chances like the one he had today though.

I get people saying £10m is not worth it... I agree somewhat. But is Stansfield worth £12m??? The point is, these types of Strikers are not exactly ten a penny at the moment and when you find one there will be a premium. I personally think he is the player we NEED and if its £10m, then so be it!
