I think you've just created an appropriate nickname...😃 But to answer your question, it looks like she's going for the nutjob Reform vote, so expect lots of focus on foreigners, immigrants, anti-environmental rhetoric, pretending to care about pensioners, blaming shitty public services on the people who work in them etc etc Pretending to care about pensioners I can’t remember them giving a 10 p pension rise I also can’t remember them trying to freeze them either

If it hadn't been for belatedly adopting the energy price cap, a Labour policy much ridiculed and resisted by the Conservatives until energy prices got out of control, a lot of pensioners probably would have frozen.

The worst shadow cabinet in the history of British politics ever assembled? Without doubt I feel a bit sorry for her tbh. When you remove the "no, thanks, Kemi", the confirmed backbenchers, the mad and the bad, thanks to Bozo, Truss and Sunak it's a frighteningly small 'talent' pool she's got to draw from. It's no wonder half these people are complete nobodies.

The worst shadow cabinet in the history of British politics ever assembled? Doesn't really matter. Governments lose elections more than Oppositions win them as we saw last July.

Badenoch just said to the Post Office inquiring of all the places): “Being seen to do the right thing, in my view, is just as important as doing the right thing.”
Everything wrong with modern politics encapsulated perfectly. No, Kemi, the public don’t give a shit about “seeing” that things are being done right, we just want them done right.
What happens, certainly over the last decade or so, is that we are gaslit and told things are being done right, when the truth is very different.
Politicians should focus on doing the right thing and they should completely ignore how it looks. Just get on with the job and stop telling us you are doing it. Less focus on PR, more focus on running the country.

Less focus on PR, more focus on running the country. Completely agree with you about the focus. Politicians of all colours are mere salespeople so they will always worry about the optics of a policy or process, mind you. The people "running the country" are the civil servants acting under instruction from the salespeople (or their sales advisors (SPADS)).
