Personally I think it deserves more. I've watched my kid play grass roots from age 6 till current at 14 and not once have I even heard of kids doing it. Its absolutely pathetic behaviour from a grown man. Serious underlying issues I suspect. And more significantly if this kind of shit happens more kids will potentially start copying. So even more reason for the authorities to hammer the shit out of him to send a very clear message. 6 to 12 month ban. Ivan Toney having a few bets deserves a bigger ban? Doesn't add up.. |

Just how few bets did Toney have then? I think you may have used the wrong example. Maybe you're right but as I understood it he wasn't throwing games and was betting on his team to win at least. I'd still say what he did isn't in the same bracket as biting another player though. An adult biting I imagine is no joke. Dirty beyond belief. To be honest the player being bitten would be fully justified in sticking a full on headbut on him. |
