I don’t normally say this about a competitive Stoke match but if the level of performance is there and in a similar vain to the Portsmouth match the result won’t matter too much for me. At this stage the manager and players are still finding their feet together so if we can maintain a consistent performance level the results will come in time but not necessarily this weekend. So for once for me the level of performance is almost as important as the outcome. agreed, just hope if we lose the fans don’t get right on their backs again, or else we will be back to square one

If we give it a go and lose a close-fought game then most fans will accept that as the rub of the green. If we play negatively with limited attacking efforts and lose by a couple of goals then the fans may vent their anger on occasion.

Just release a flock of sheep into the car park before kick off.
They will be too excited and have their hands full to be able to play decent football.

Can't not play the same team if all fit and available, Maybe Million for Koumas, run himself in the ground on Wednesday It's the age old adage, don't change a winning team. Same starting 11 for me also.

Play on the front foot again. 1-3. Leicester walked the league last year despite loosing 11 games Norwich got into the playoffs after losing 16 We can't afford many more defeats if we are going to make real progress

I have to say that when Schumacher was sacked, ending another false dawn for Stoke City, my minders put me into intensive care. They specifically told me not to go onto the Oatcake message board as, "I would only upset myself." Now I have played Mike Oldfield's "PORTSMOUTH" a few times and am feeling much better. Now I wonder what the Club's unpredictable script writers have got in store for us next.

Difficult to know which Stoke we are going to see against Swansea. So many times before we have had a good result and performance only to follow it up with a completely different Stoke. Either the performance against Portsmouth was a good showing from us, or they had a really bad off night and made us look good. Lets see, fingers crossed. Swansea 0 Stoke 2

Hopefully Gallagher is fit to play. Same team again, maybe Ashley for Gibson if he’s not up to it.
Give Thompson the day off (sorry Jordan)

We're going to edge a 1-2 win. Winner coming in the 93rd minute. Cue massive 1100 person mental. Good luck to the travelling fans 👍
Gooaarrn Stoke...

We never have close games at Swansea, we either batter them or they batter us. Lets hope it’s the former and we go at them like Jos Verstappen went at his ex-wife. ? lot of 2.1 results, a 3.3 drew at home last season, we did win 3.1 away last year don't remember too many battering's either way although I think there was 0.3 there in the p/l? We lost 0-3 there last season on a pig of a night in South Wales. Over the years we’ve played them 82 times, winning 33, losing 26 and drawing 23 times, so pretty close all round. Since relegation we’ve played them 7 times at The Liberty winning 4 and losing 3, so again pretty close.

The heart says a win, the mind thinks a draw and “good team performance” would be good and progressive.

How refreshing would it be to back up the win on Wednesday and get another in the bag before the international break…
Not holding my breath though because we have let ourselves down so many times before and I’ve been fooled in to thinking we’d get a result.
Same team as the Portsmouth game and get at Swansea is all I ask

Hate to be too negative but, we are still very much in transition.....Portsmouth were very much as bad as we were good. We need to stick with this guy for the long haul if possible. Its gonna get pretty shitty at times until it starts clicking with these players That said.... 15 - 0 to stoke.....gooarn

If Gallagher runs the show like a conductor up top again I'm thinking we batter em. Interested in how Swans come out in the first 15.
