I watched the game with the Portsmouth commentary out of choice, as ours drives me insane. The Radio Solent guy along with ex Pompey striker Guy Whittingham mentioned that their manager used the tactic of having their goalkeeper go down 'injured'from time to time to slow the game down when they were under pressure. Page 1 of the "Eddie Howe coaching manual" : time wasting at every opportunity I recall us playing Bournemouth and our player had totally skinned their RB twice and Howe and his assistant were screaming "go down injured, slow the game down" to him |

Their keepers injury, or ‘injury’ My question is… was it genuine? As I felt the game turned when he went down, it was like the fans were all back on side after the equaliser and the assumption that the game would get away from us. I genuinely don’t know if it was real or not… did anyone get a good view? I'm sure he was butt-hurt by the end of the game. |

That was about it
I remember Bournemouth doing it v Man City and the ref adding time on top of time and ManCity scoring in about the 98th minute, Balotelli I think.
Howe moaning afterwards. Enjoyed that one
