I think I’ll give it a miss for my sanity. Off to Turkey for a late holiday and I want to enjoy it!

Narcis talks a very good game but it's what we've heard from the previous x managers! Let's hope that he can implement his style quickly and more importantly get points on the board asap. On a side note, Hull and Middlesbrough are no mugs and would have always been a difficult test regardless who was in charge.

‘When you are a top team you don’t worry about others but when you aren’t one of the top teams you have to adapt every game’ Oh dear, oh fucking dear. That's a stark contrast to what he was saying in his opening interview. It's taken him 2 weeks to realise this squad isn't very good hasn't it and we're back to a having a manager/head coach more worried about what the opposition is doing, just like Alex Neil and Schumacher (to a degree).

Given how shit the team was last time out,
Sidibe for Thompson Dixon for Junior Phillips for Wilmott Moran for Bae Seko for Burger Stevens for Bocat
I'd stick with Cannon and play Gallagher with him.
Hopefully a bench place for Lawal

Hopefully a bench place for Lawal I think it will be the same side as the last two defeats Perhaps a start for Vidigal and Gally but I wouldn't bet on it

I find listening to NP quite exhausting, even for 8 minutes or so🤣🤣 NP's interviews are a tough watch. His answers sound like he is addressing the players and not the wider audience. He needs to learn to relax and inject some humour. This would help wake up the other half of the brain, for players and supporters alike.

Why dont they ask,why play a passing game, when too many of the players seem frightened to death when the ball is passed to them?

all his talk of being more aggressive is worrying me unless i’m misunderstanding him , wouldn’t this just lead to giving more free kicks away ?

Not for his pre-match press conference its not. I mean how many players are going to sit through that lot? He would benefit from some media training.

I think it's just lost in translation abit, the way I understood this wasn't so much being aggressive physically but being positive, taking more risks. If you listen to the interview he talks about how we didn't make enough forward passes, take enough shots etc.

I was only half listening and can't be bothered to try again - did he just reference Nietzsche? 😂😂
I think he sounds fine. Alex Neil was a misery and SS was okay but reminded me of chatting to a random bloke in the pub about the game.

I simply cannot see how he motivates his team - I watched 4 minutes and was bored. I don't know if it's me but he seems absolutely clueless and talks nonsense. The number of times he mentions aggression is bewildering and he lacks sincerity in the interview. Hopefully, I'm talking shite and he's great in the dressing room. Anyway, let's hope we get 3 points tonight.

Be pro active, go forward and pass to someone in the same shirt as you. If he'd just told us that I'd be a 'bit' happier.

I agree Fish, I think if you over complicate things and bombard players with too much information, it's counter productive. I really can't see footballers being overly keen on meetings galore, especially if it lengthens their days😳. We shall see, but I can't see it ending well.

During the interview he adopted a defensive body language when answering the following questions:
"...the fans will want to know, how are you gonna change things so we get three points tomorrow"
and
"How are the players responding to this, what must be a very different attitude and change for them in terms of training and different methods that you want to bring in? Are you pleased with how they've absorbed what you've asked them so far?"
Does this suggest he has doubts about the prospects of winning games? and doubts about the players being on side?
I guess it's understandable if he does, considering the circumstances of his appointment and his limited experience in the role.
Ah well. Even though I was gobsmacked and disappointed at Shuey being sacked, I do wish Narcís all the best and I really hope he can dispel those doubts and do well for us.

Just watched the video Aggressive defence, aggressive attack brings to mind the words of Corporal Jones of Dads Army, "they don't like it up'em"
Unfortunately I am going to panic.
I really wish him well but it sounds very confusing.
