The day in Valencia is in my top draw of games i glad i went too, its up there with relegation party at Brighton never to be forgotten and the game at Dynamo Kiev and bring released from the away section two by two at the end and having to find the hotel again.

There’s a couple ..but 

1) Missed Gordon Banks testimonial as was in hospital recovering from pioneering open heart surgery .. 

2) Covid years ..

Only making the trip to Split and not going to the rest.

Albeit was not earning the money I do today but I probably
Could’ve made at least 1 or 2 of the other trips.

Did feel at the time though that European tours could become a quite common occurrence for us too🤦‍♂️

I gave my Cardiff tickets away the morning of the second leg, coach tickets also . hadn't missed a game that season. Was a couple of non football reasons , also the fact that I didn't want it rubbed in our faces there also

The chap I gave them to hadn't been to a game in about 2 years

The screening and result made up for it to be fair

Nice to see karma is still alive and well in this day and age.

It's just a pity that Huw Edwards' employers weren't similarly as condemning of someone who had committed worse crimes though.

I'm exactly the same. Was at uni at the time and simply didn't have the money! Always thought I'd have at least one more crack at it, now I wonder if we ever will again...

Away leg in Cardiff. Should’ve ignored my dad telling me it was too late for a school night, gone anyway and dealt with the bollocking.

Made up for it by doing all the European aways in 11/12 on the basis it might be a once in a lifetime opportunity.
