Next 6 league gamesgames, to be fair to the new manager ( by next weekend we the players should be aware of how he wants us to play ) this is the least what I realistically expect.
Portsmouth h - win Swansea a - draw Norwich h- lose Bristol city h - win Sheff Utd a - lose Derby h- win
10 points out of 18.

I'm not sure that we are going to find winning home games particularly easy, if we are going to continue playing the way he wants to.
The crowd are going to be very edgy (and lacking good will) and with a young team playing risky football (badly currently) that could go very badly.

With the style of play and the likes of Tchamadeu, Gibson and Thompson playing I fully expect zero points.
We can't defend or score goals.
Hopefully we might snatch a 0-0 or 1-1 draw though.

Portsmouth will get something on Wednesday either a 0 0 draw or they snatch a win. What I watched yesterday gave me zero confidence we will get another point all season 😂

Pompy is a huge game, we must win otherwise I fear a toxic atmosphere and the new manager will be under (unfair) pressure. What a mess.

I can't see us getting anything from that run of games, maybe a point or 2 at absolute maximum. If the fraud is still here at the end of that run with such a poor record, then we really are a basket case.

Any manager in charge of a team that is in and around the relegation zone is not under unfair pressure. You're there for a reason, 2 weeks or 2 months in he's now responsible for the mess so he'd better suck it up and crack on.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Our fans don’t have the patience for modern football. A young team trying to play possession based with people groaning, shouting, likely booing given the feel around the fans at the minute the home atmosphere is just going to be toxic. It wouldn’t surprise me if our home form is worse than our away form for the rest of the season. Much like it was under MON who tried to play the same brand of football…. I wonder why

Think the problem is, we were looking mid table when they sacked the manager which was an improvement on recent seasons. Now we look to have undone that and face yet another relegation battle.

That's not entertainment and there is nothing modern about it either.

He still deserves a bit more time but theres very little to be positive about so far
Pompey is massive

For me, bottom line is the manager and the players aren’t good enough. It’s all been masked over by a few good results the end of last season I.e. a 4-0 victory over Bristol City with fuck all to play for. We’re in a relegation battle again already imo.

I wonder why It’s the fact that they are showing no signs at all of mastering the concept of possession based football which leads to crowd unrest. It really is quite simple, people would not moan about it if out of every sequence of back and along and back that maybe 4 out of 10 led to us sucking the opposition in and breaking through the lines to get the ball to our front three with time/space and numerical parity or advantage. All we are doing is exposing just how bad our players are at almost every aspect of the game- no movement, no composure and no speed of thought (all critical for this type of possession based football). The unspoken elephant in the room is that I even if the coach went fuck it, lets play long and try and pin them in their half that we lack the physicality to do this too with the squad as it stands. Utter shit show.

Lose on Wednesday which I think we will & questions must be asked. I would go as far to say if the performance is as bad again he should be relieved of his post after the game.

I hate us losing but if we do I want at least to know we did our best and Saturday wasn't that.

If Pèlach goes then Walter’s also has to go in my mind.

Been watching loads of goals of the matches over the weekend across the leagues…..just comparing yesterdays performance with some of the snippets I’ve watched, and we seem unable to make accurate or properly weighted passes, invariably chose the wrong option with a ball, incapable of defending and generally just no movement or fight.
There was more skill and composure on display in the league 2 highlights than what I saw from us yesterday and I just don’t know why players can’t perform even the most basic of tasks to a competent level. It’s hopefully too early, but if another rotten attitude mindset has developed we are in such a mess.
