SJW was a blood and thunder winger/forward in a largely blood and thunder team, even at our most sublime under Hughes we still moved the ball forward quickly , skillfully, but quickly and rarely messed about at the back. So how has he come to the apparent conclusion that as DOF he is setting a style of ticatakka, tippy tappy, suicide style nogga throughout the club???
It really couldn’t be further from what this clubs fan base is about, and more importantly what the current crop of players are capable of, I am at a loss to how this is seen as a viable identity in any current scenario for this club,
We are a relegation away from becoming the most basket case, ex prem club of the last 10 years??

This little more than a hunch but, JW is doing what he thinks we need to succeed in modern football, whereas what he should be think is what does the Championship function like. It’s a classic case of an inexperienced person in control who is guessing. Pure and simple. And Coates employed him because he’s Pulis-era, and that’s the only reason he got the gig. A smarter company leader wouldn’t do this. All of this is on John Coates. I’m done with it/him. |

It's a dead heat with Wigan or Blackburn. Also about 18 months away from Bolton, Coventry and Portsmouth territory. At least the latter 3 have all bounced back to varying degrees - if we still have the Coates family in charge if we go down to league 1, then I have no confidence whatsoever that we will get out of there either, unless it's a trip to league 2 of course. |
