Will the coaching staff realise that every team we play have identified we are weak as piss in wide defensive areas? Bocat and Junior are continuously beaten when one on one and are slow to close wide players. It's not even solely down to the full backs, we are so narrow in midfield there is no wide midfield defensive cover. Hull second half last week saw this and Boro today were on it from kick off.

I really can’t understand why he didn’t give Stevens a run out!

There is absolutely no effort from our forward wide players to double up with the full backs defensively.

I really can’t understand why he didn’t give Stevens a run out! It was clear in the first 20 mins Bocat was struggling with their young winger. Be brave, change it, bring on Stevens and push Bocat forward even if it means changing shape by bringing off Burger or Thompson.

Philips and Dixon should be involved and integrated properly when available and Stevens and Rose are probably less of a liability than some we could mention. Am I dreaming as can't be bothered to look back but didn't we get more solid at the end of last season when Stevens returned? I continue with my mantra of build from the back to give the forwards confidence to do their thing. Football can get very over-complicated I'm afraid. Anyways, I'm remaining optimistic as I'm confident we have young talent at this Club. Onwards and I hope, upwards. Got to ride the storm in my humble opinion.

We’ve got no plan b. It took Hull 45 mins to suss us out last week and Middlesbrough 10 minutes to suss us out this week. Once that point is reached it’s a case of how many were going to lose by.

We don’t just have that singular problem though. Our obvious problems are multi-layered and very well documented on this Forum. We simply don’t have the necessary leadership with the nouse to correct these issues. This is inspite of considerable investment. You don’t spend multiple seasons dicing with relegation without reason. I suspect it will soon end in relegation. We are on the verge of a real crisis at this club.

The laughable bit is so many teams do it like us that are not capable to carry it out re the quality of players we have?

I used to look forward to playing teams that played like that, we used to do well getting cheap goals against them from their crap passing, it looks like we've decided to be that team instead.

When I saw the Subject I thought it was going to be "At what point do we call 'time' on Narcis" ! He has 10 games. It has to be the minimum requirement. Problem we now have is we could be goosed if we lose most or all of those. And we'll be paying 4 managers at that point. It really is a circus. Schumacher should still be here.

Far far to narrow
You could have driven a bus down either flank in the 1st half

Gibson is proving to be a bad signing and an even worse captain. He has made a bad defence into a totally incompetent shower of sh*te and this playing the full backs up close to the centre backs is infuriating. Opposition managers must be laughing their socks off as we continue to do it.

Picked Steven’s in my recommended team last week this head coach is totally tactically inept , talks the walk but can’t walk it , designer gear no idea .

He looked like a boy lost on the touchline too. I fear for him at the moment, this isn’t what he signed up for. We have to hope he drops on a formula

We have to hope he drops on a formula I’m afraid he’s a true believer in his version and it will be over before it’s started if we have any modicum of awarensss before it turns unpleasant but Walter’s self preservation instincts will kick in pretty quick

Both full-backs need resting, bit of time out might do them good. Give Stevens a go and maybe wilmot at RB.

When I saw the Subject I thought it was going to be "At what point do we call 'time' on Narcis" ! 10 games Don't think we can afford to give him 10 games. If it was me, I would sack him off tonight and go balls deep to get Schuey back or, failing that, Danny Rohl. An utterly pointless appointment done solely so Walters could feed his own ego ahead of the needs of the club and sack Schuey, where there was some sort of a personality clash, and bring in a yes man who would bend over backwards to stay in the job despite unrealistic demands.

It was the difference last night, both Wilmott and Stevens made a huge contribution to closing out their wide players and steadying the ship
