Our players (keeper and Rose) were hi-5ing each other at 0-2 in the last minute, after a huge comedy fuck up that should have resulted in a third goal.
To me, that sums up the absolutely rotten culture at the football club that has been evident over a long period of time.
Small time, unprofessional, unarsed, and happy to be second best. This is the year gravity calls.....stinks of 2018.

What I have never been able to understand is why do all of these managers fail here?
They can’t become bad managers overnight and to a certain degree it’s the same with some of the players,they start off ok then over the weeks their performances nose dive into mediocrity.
Something must be going on at the club for this shit show to go on season after season and in all honesty I just can’t figure it out.

Would they continually appoint unqualified, unfit fit for purpose people into the top jobs over several years? The problem is obvious. And perhaps those who don't see JC as the problem are a part of the problem? |

To be fair he’s not been a manager/coach long enough to become bad. He should never have been appointed in the first place. I was ok with them getting rid of Schumacher as he probably wasn’t getting the best out of the squad and clearly was at odds with Walter’s and Coates. BUT to then replace him with a complete novice of a manager/coach at this level is ridiculous and complete incompetence by those in charge. I fear that this will only end in one way, and it will be disastrous for Stoke City unfortunately. |

This latest directional change is unlikely to end well or nicely. Stoke fans don’t like footballers generally and prefer runners so watching a bunch of useless twats trying to play football isn’t really going to get the juices flowing especially when the style of play prohibits running aimlessly as well. If I had to pick one thing to exemplify what sums us up right now I’d say it’s having a new manager in the stands watching a cup game who then decided that one of the answers to our problems is to have Jordan Thompson play every minute of the next 2 league games. I’d be tempted to sack him just for that alone. |
