Aside from conceding from a misplaced pass…
Did anyone else notice the change in what we did from goalkicks?
We played it short for a couple of passes then played a direct ball through straight to cannon and the 3 of koumas junho and million were bombing in behind every time. Seemed to be something worked on in the few days he had training.
Only time I’ve ever really seen it done was Brighton against us in the cup a couple of seasons ago where they drew us in and played the direct low ball straight to the middle of the park a flick on and they were in multiple times.
Whilst we lost there are real promising signs in the change of tactics. Even after a couple of days. If we had got some of the flick Ons from cannon through we’d have had a 3 on 2 multiple times.
Exciting times ahead I reckon.

The problem being that Cannon lost the vast majority of the headers.

It’s to break the press.
Shame we didn’t have a CF who could win a header.

Few games I’ve watched particularly vs Argyle & Oxford we’ve really struggled to move the ball out from the back mainly due to opposition pressing us quickly and the inability to link up and move forward. Then the move breaks down because rarely is anyone looking for space or diagonal run. Something new would be very welcome.
