After a first half, though far from perfect, in which we should have been at least two up, we come out and get mullered. Are they taking a nap at half time? The opposition looks to step up but we seem to think nothing will change and we will cruise the rest of the game. I assume it is down to the players who seem to have a lazy attitude.

They were just knackered.
They try but just cannot do it because of fitness.
And then it was clear that number 7 was killing Junior so I would have put Sidibe on early and just had him to stay on the right hand side and double up. There wasn’t really a better option on the bench to do that. Putting Tezgel there was odd.

I think they cram in a three course belly buster meal during half time, it’s the only explanation.

Surely, as a Championship outfit, we can't be that much below the average level of fitness?
We've effectively had TWO sodding head fitness coaches who are presumably following best practice from pre-season onwards?
But after watching Watford, West Brom, Plymouth, Oxford and yesterday, you'd be forgiven for thinking we were the most unfit rabble in the division

Hopefully the correct decisions will be made as he gets to know the players better Bocat always seemed to have two players on him and there was loads of space on the left hand side for some reason Our right back situation is concerning and though and needs addressing quickly

I said at half time it’s a shame we’ve not really got the bench to make 5 subs at half time because that’s what it needed. Why Koumas was ever starting is a mystery too because he looked like he was about to drop from about the 60th minute of the Fleetwood game.

I thought he worked tremendously hard last season and didn’t shirk a thing. He looks scared this season to put his foot in. Which just didn’t happen last season. And I think that played into the overloading of the left too. You’re spot on, Bocat had 2 men on him most times and no one supported him with that. It was like Junior vs the 7, yeah Junior was wank but we didn’t double up on him and support Junior. Which is just basic shit. It also annoyed me that the one time Junior actually got the better of him and smashed him, he didn’t do it again despite that player acting like a big fucking fanny.

We are also only 4 players away from a decent defence

The players aren’t as fit as those they are playing against. Burger looks bollocksed after 50 odd minutes; he could run all day a year ago.

We are also only 4 players away from a decent defence We have Phillips who’s looked decent Stevens if he keeps fit is a good champ defender Gibson though not what he was is decent In relation to RB I’d give Dixon a go as he can’t be any worse. Biggest problem for me is that the previous manager/s has forgotten the main attribute of a defender rather and prioritised other less important things. It’s like we play wingbacks at fullback

I thought our goal masked a pretty shit first half too. If they had been able to get their shots on target we could have easily conceded a couple. We had no pattern of play in any of the 5 phases - except one cracking header from a corner and the move leading to it. They passed through us with ease.

Gibson has been disappointing and was lucky stay on the pitch last night. Based on this lot last night we need 4 different starters and at least 2 more as back up

The fitness argument really makes you think about Bocat losing the plot in the second half. He's played a lot of minutes this season.

It’s glaring isn’t it? Chicho says he’s into the data and analytics so you’d hope he’d be onto this pretty damn quickly
