The real problem here is that TP as much as I disliked his football apart from the few times he went Pulis Plus +++ Two wingers Pennant and Ethers etc. Is what people genuinely want in the Potteries. They clamour to be hated, hard uncompromising, a shit house outfit!I don't think that's necessarily true. The majority of our fanbase just want us not to be fucking shit all the time. |

H We said on the way home, unless you do the basics right, shape, winning headers, 50-50s, knowing what the guy in front of you is doing, you'll always leave yourself a mountain to climb. Especially when you have a heart of a gnat like our players seem to have. Training this week should be about getting the absolute basics right. I'm not hopeful. |

Yeah I’ve said similar to this on another thread I think or might have been in the ground. I can’t really see a world where NP recovers from a mass exodus on 79 minutes and then boo’d off by anyone who remained. The connection with the fans is so fragile and this guys already starting wayyyy back due to the decision JW has made. A bit harsh. The issue is whether Pelach has the ability to deal with and lessen the flaws in our players and squad. I'm not sure Schumacher had, otherwise the errors wouldn't still be so obvious. It's one game within 2 days, but his inability to settle us after that penalty was scary And probably what most feared would happen with this new inevitably Spanish way of playing (open/loose when you don't have Man City level players) He must've thought Tezgel was a right back as well 😅 |
