The Wimmer, Berahino & Imbula trio costs were eye watering and very damaging for us. Around £50m in transfer fees alone blown for 3 players who provided nothing to the squad. Mark Hughes comment after signing Wimmer ……. "Kevin is an undoubted talent and he will significantly add to the quality of the group of players that I already have at my disposal., We put a real emphasis on trying to enhance the defensive areas of the squad this summer and by signing Kevin, we feel that we have been able to do that."

Think that was Wolly! Irrationally loved Philip Wollschied. What a man! Wolly had a lot of stick that was very unjustified in some cases. A cup game against Liverpool one of his best displays? As for Wimmer, those post match theatricals at Wembley prancing with his Tottenham friends was the death knell for a signing we didnt need at a price which should have been investigated for fraud! I forgot it was wolly that went fusbal. Thinking about it wimmer wouldn't be able to play that. By far one of the biggest waste of what, £18m I've seen

I thought he'd retired to play fusbal. Looks loads fitter than when with us. Seriously the same Wimmer? Think that was Wolly! Irrationally loved Philip Wollschied. What a man! Which one used to wear gloves? I was watching the Wimmer goal thinking where are his gloves, but I may have just morphed him and Wollschied into the same player. If Wimmer gets a few more CL goals does he get to join the club of Stoke rejects who do explicably well in the CL (Joselu, Choupo-Moting)?

Wollscheid was the glove-wearer. And didn't he run with "jazz hands?" That is IF my memory isn't shorting out again.
