www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/stoke-city-fleetwood-live-stream-9559344Team newsRyan Shawcross has named a strong Stoke City starting XI as he takes caretaker charge against Fleetwood Town. Shawcross and Alex Morris are overseeing tonight’s Carabao Cup third round tie at the bet365 Stadium (7.30pm) and although there are seven changes from the team that lost in the Championship at Oxford on Saturday, there are shirts for Viktor Johansson, Million Manhoef, Bae Junho, Lewis Koumas and Andrew Moran. Enda Stevens returns from a calf injury to make his first appearance of the season and Michael Rose is back from an ankle injury he picked up in pre-season. Jordan Thompson, who was used from the bench at Oxford, also starts after recovering from a calf strain. Jaden Dixon and Sol Sidibe, both 17, have started all three cup ties so far and Stoke hope for a repeat performance from the last round, when they walloped Middlesbrough 5-0. Narcis Pelach is expected to be watching from the stands as Stoke close in on appointing the 36-year-old as new head coach to replace Steven Schumacher. Stoke: Johansson, Dixon, Stevens, Phillips, Rose, Sidibe, Thompson, Moran, Manhoef, Koumas, Junho. Subs: Bonham, Wilmot, Anderson, Bocat, Burger, Seko, Lipsiuc, Cannon, Tezgel.

Can’t believe Manhoeff is playing when we have a game on Friday and he played twice during the international break, he defo should have been rested.

no 'fresh start' as yet for Vidigal I see. Even if he is on his way out, you'd think he'd get a game against these Unless of course he still has tonsilitis/ingrown toenail/shin splints/hangnail

Playing Manhoef, when we could’ve gone with Koumas Tezgel Junho seems foolish. You’d also think it’s the perfect opportunity to give Seko his debut?

Who knows what it is though🤷🏻♂️

If it’s Walters then it won’t be a fresh start. I’d have thought that if Schumacher couldn’t use him for x number of reasons they will have been fed back to Walters who should be looking to get rid.

Thought we’d have seen Seko but decent enough.
Wouldn’t have risked Manhoef.

Can't blame him for going strong though. He's in charge for what looks like 1 game and he won't want to look foolish playing all 2nd string and losing.
