Might get slated for this but I couldn’t give two hoots what the new manager has to say at this point, proof is in the pudding. Can’t cope with another manager spouting how great the club is and how we should be at a higher level, thanking the board blah blah blah

Not too sure what the outrage is here? He is saying that Narcís is very highly spoke of in the game so he is happy to have signed him. It's Jon's job to introduce him, it's his appointment, really nothing to see here. How many times have you introduced someone starting off by talking about yourself? He has just said that when speaking to people across football Narcís is highly spoke of. That's it, there's nothing more to the statement. If anything he is trying to reassure about the decision he has made. I think there is a very strange opinion being made of Walters in general, let's see if this decision is right or, hopefully not, wrong in which case Walters has put himself front and centre, which is exactly what he should do as it's his decision.

Welcome Nancy, hope you got your previous office fixed. Don't forget, until January, "they're not your players".

Yep same here heard the talk umpteen times and same script with AN Others name attached, boring as hell. Yet another safety net, along with JW before it reaches the top, real problem is with the owners

It just seems like a bit of shame. It's the feeling I can't quite shake.
I liked Schumacher and felt he was taking us in the right direction for the first time since O'Neil joined. Maybe he wasn't going to be THAT guy to take us back to where we need to be, but it was significantly better than some of the shitters we've had since being relegated.
Pelach has come in now and unfortunately for him, there's going to be massive expectations put on his shoulders.
I really hope he comes good but I've got nothing to go off, guess we'll wait and see.

Lovely announcement of the club, opening with Jon Walters reminding everyone how important he is. Good luck Narcis, you'll need it. Yup. Sporting Director Jon Walters said: “Across the extensive dialogue I’ve had across football, including at the highest levels of the game, Narcís is one of the most respected and sought-after coaches around" Really Jon, really? Know if this statement had come from a bloke who worked at bet365 and watched loads of non league football I’d be convinced

Embarrassing. Shows how far this club has fallen since Jon Coates took over. When he's sacked Walters should follow right behind him and the owner should come out and admit he knows nothing about running a football club. why should he bother? everyone knows he’s fucking clueless.

I'm quite excited but not expecting an immediate revolution
I love what a bonkers gamble this is
Worse case scenario he's gone by Xmas and we end up getting relegated, but I didn't have believe in Schumacher and was expecting us to be in the bottom third anyway
As a famous Stoke once said, "You know I'm going to lose And gamblings for fools But that's the way I like it baby I don't want to live forever"

Massive over reaction and picking holes in everything and anything. Did you manage to blow smoke up you're own arse whilst doing so? He is coming across as a complete idiot, desperate to make up for his lack of experience in such role by reminding everyone how important he is. His review of the transfer window was exactly the same, constantly mentioning how everything at the club goes through him. Thursday tomorrow, which is usually his YouTube day and opportunity to tell us all again he's the head of football. I don't care who he has spoken to at the highest level of the game, I care he constantly asks us to unite and be together then does anything he can to break that up. Over to him now, he can't sack anyone else so maybe he'll pipe down a bit.

No, what do you mean by really Jon? Would you prefer it if he hadn't taken the time to talk with people about the person he was considering for the job? Weird

Is Narcis well respected in the game? Who? Narcís Pèlach. He’s first team coach at Norwich. Never heard of him. Didn’t you score own goals and miss a pen in the same game? That was me, yes. Funny. Now fuck off.

I hope Whitehead is a better coach than he was a footballer. Has for SS,all the best for the future,I think the club were wrong to let you go. Whitehead played over 200 games in the Premier League, he may not have been Nzonzi but he was far from a bad player.

For the first time since relegation I had some faith in SS moving us up the table from the perennial bottom half finish. He's gone and it's up to Señor Pèlach to convince me he can do better, over to you Narcís.
