It’s not cowardice is it? It’s actually the complete opposite. I was just referencing Bayern's liking of the word coward when talking about Schumacher. Oh sorry mate. Yeah I see he can’t help himself again can he?

This certainly looks a huge departure from the well trodden crap path we’ve been down for years now. I just don’t think we’d be better off without Coates money, but they certainly need guidance in terms of running the footballing side of things. It’s unfair but not unfounded to have little faith in this next appointment given our track record but I hope we at least get some exciting attacking football and use our best players in their best positions. Time will tell I have zero faith in it but again that’s just from history. Nothing to do with this bloke. As ever we just have to keep our fingers crossed that they have got it right at last.

I like the idea of a Spanish coach who knows the game but is a big big step up if any truth in it
Could be a Walter Zenga at Wolves appointment just as easily though

Walters has gone full balls on the line. Admirably stupid. Why is it stupid? Have they made the correct decision sacking SS and moving in for a coach they see as being better the correct call or not? Because of the reaction. I like it tbh. But I’m seemingly as usual in a minority.

So we've gone from having a young, successful manager to someone who sets up the training cones at Norwich?

He was in charge of Huddersfield at the Bet365 when we beat them 3-0 in 2022/23. I actually remember saying at the time "This guy will go far" You were totally wrong He may have just gone 20 feet to the next dug out

Sometimes you just have to smile and enjoy the ride. It's a game of nogger when all's said and done, he might be shit or he might be the bastard love child of Arsene Wenger and Johan Cruyff, who knows?
Hopefully we'll be entertained finding out......

Any idea on his football style? He won't have a clue either. Never managed a game in his life.

All I can think is why not. It's completely different from what I expected.
It's officially Walters' appointment and from the interviews it looks like he believes he knows his shit and won't back from his principles, which I like.
It's Walters' first appointment so let's see. It's either going to be a masterstroke or a complete cock up. I'm a glass half full type so automatic promotion this season incoming 😉
The reaction of our fans usually means the opposite happens anyway.

This is the polar opposite to what we need right now. Experience to gel a young team together surley.

Am willing to give every new manager a chance . Apart from Alex Neil... he's just a useless f#cktard
If it is the Narco ...it could be a left field appointment that works out
It could not of course but let's see

I couldn't really understand what he was saying mainly (he's got an accent and I'm hard of hearing) but he was definitely going on about being the head coach of some team in the second tier somewhere. I gave up with it after a few minutes because of not being able to tell what he was saying, it's a 45 minute interview.

Do we really buy into the players kicking off stuff? I imagine a lot of players in failing sides don't really agree with the approach to games, but they still adapt and make it work. I don't think many found it particularly thrilling to play under TP but it made them successful. I just think it's the not knowing what you're going to get from one week to the next that's made their minds up. We had a chance on Saturday to make it 3 wins on the bounce but instead we put in the worst performance under SS so far. He hasn't shown any consistency in approach or formation. It's clear to me that he and JW butted heads and there was only ever going to be one winner.

Having coached under Corberan at Huddersfield is good but that was two years ago. If he learned from Corberan that's a positive. What was Corberan's reputation when he was appointed manager at Huddersfield from coaching under Bielsa.?

Wonder where the link to Walters is, and how his head has been so turned by him that he's just been straight up offered the job with no formal process.
He doesn't follow him on instagram, and he seems to follow most others he's come into contact with.

Schumacher was a coward with his football. He didn’t stick with his principles and the owner has picked up on that. There’s no need to werrit over a coach who didn’t coach his players very well and showed he was a bottle job. The worry is the idiots making the decision. But people as ever don’t want to see that. I wasn't a fan of his football, but calling him a coward is too far.. No need 100% agree. You would think long and hard about calling someone you barely knew a coward to their face. It's unnecessary and overly aggressive.

'The type of coach we should be looking at to replace Farke'
He might be in the pub to be fair
