Thoughts on the day
1 Maintained throughout the summer that SJW / SS relationship was a concern , clearly roles she recruitmrnt never settled
2 The idea we gave a good squad is nonsense we are again totallly lacking physicality and know how and the exits are really hurting us
3 Very strange timing
4 Why on gods earth don’t we try and punch above our weight with a managerial appointment thus ine as others gave saud is a huge risk given the inexperience around him
i never totally warmed to SS but the timing is nonsense and the new guy is likely to be under huge pressure come Xmas as after these next two home league games the hill gets very very steep . If you offerec me 50 points now I’d take it as I fear the risk reward balance is tilted hugely in favour of the former and we may well be looking for a Red Adair in January

Do they just pull names out of a hat these days at Stoke ? 🤔 And if they'd gone for a Neil Warnock type we'd have been accused of jumping on the Old English Manager merry-go-round or the Scouse/Irish Mafia-go-round. They can't win. It’s Just a comment on the utter randomness of this appointment (if it happens) more than anything else! …although, I have to say, I’m already skeptical of this appointment (if it happens) given his total lack of experience! Bear minimum it’s a massive gamble! I don’t give a shit how well he can talk, we’ve had good talkers before! |

My take is that Walters may have had his eyes on him for a while As Serpico said, inexperienced as a manager but we're not going to get a top foreign coach , realistically at this level. From Rowett to ONeil to Neil to Schuey apart from the odd game there hasn’t been any noticeable change in the way we play
I wasn’t calling for Schueys head, I think he deserved a bit longer However it’s done now and above anything else I Just want to see us go into every game with a positive attitude for the full ninety minutes
Hopefully this guy will do this. We’ve got the makings of a really good attacking squad. Let’s use it properly

Apologies if already posted. Interesting and promising/encouraging comment on P&G tonight from the Norfolk Correspondent who covers NCFC.
Interestingly SS has gone plus 3 of his chosen back room staff. Reportedly this guy if he joins is bringing a goalkeeping coach with him.
Internal reshuffle/promotion and/or someone else coming in as well as part of the 1st team coaching team.
Time will tell
