Can’t help thinking that we are club with some transient players with ability and others that are happy to be on a good contract but without any real affiliation with the club apart from the monthly pay slip.

There’s plenty of fannies in this squad that’s for certain.

What players are you specifically thinking about? And did you feel like this when we beat Middlesbrough and Plymouth away in a few days?

Not quite sure why fans have to find some obscure reason why their team is not performing as they would desire. Our problem is all too painfully obvious, we’re a football team that doesn’t score anywhere near enough goals and the problem is quite long term and ongoing. We’ve taken some measures to try to rectify that. Will they prove to be the right measures? Will we have made sufficient attempts to try to change that low scoring path only time will tell. My own feeling was leaning towards us having not done enough in this area but we are now locked in with what we have for a few months, so why not just watch how it pans out. This obsession that we’ve somehow got some unique collection of charachters is quite frankly absurd. It’s now down to the management to try to mould what they have into an effective unit but make no mistake this will not be done without rectifying our core long-standing problem. All the character in the world will not circumvent the basic problem of a football team that doesn’t score anywhere near enough goals. One look at our goals for column compared to our peers will inform anyone with a mind of the starkness of the issue.

Every time we come up against a big, strong, well organised team we will lose.
Against teams that let us play we stand a much better chance.
