Don’t know when it became a thing, especially after ordinary League games?
Did Jurgen Klopp start the trend?
At the other end of the spectrum, recall Steve Coppell running straight towards the tunnel after that famous FA Cup Semi Final Sunday in 1990, when they defeated Liverpool 4-3 at Villa Park (then Oldham drew 3-3 with MU at Maine Road).
This bloke was not one for hanging around either..

Presumably that is when he arrived? Or he arrived mid first half and it made sense to do the team talk and then come out. If he had walked out on 23 minutes wouldn't that had garnered even more suspicious from some? |

Maybe he had no intention of taking part but as the game wasn't exactly going our way, decided it was his responsibility to do something. He could have easily let Dave Kemp take the shit. |
