There's so much media training in football these days - including what you apparently should and shouldn't say - that it contributes to football being generally more boring. I use to watch pre and post-match but don't usually bother these days. It is refreshing to see something different.

Personally โI would love itโ if managers and players wore their hearts on their sleeve more often.

At least if some twat goes down holding his face there should be a good reason for it.

Have we ever had any really classic Stoke manager rants? Canโt think of any off the top of my head, just Rowett sniping at the fans about Bojan and a few Pulis steak and chips moments

Not so much a rant but I'll never forget when he said on the radio referencing Bangoura's absence that he'd recently walked past two black guys in the street and wondered if one of them was Sammy

Up there with John Sitton. Mad bastard he was ๐ What was madder about Sitton was his interview with Johnny Vaughan and James Brown about it 20 years later. Luckily it was over the phone otherwise he'd have just started flaying them alive. They actually wanted to big him up and hero worship him but he got the wrong end of the stick before it started and saw attack as the best form of defence.
