Another example of these ‘fake news’ statements is about how we only beat Boro on Tuesday because they fielded so many young players. That has gathered some traction because nearly everyone (and nearly everyone round where I live are not Stoke fans) who discussed the Cup tie result with me made reference to how Boro put out a youth team. Some joker on the BBC comments board made reference to that as though it was a fact. I put him right, though😏
