Physical violence is no more or less acceptable than verbal abuse. Calling someone a coward isn’t verbal abuse. It’s an opinion. I think it’s really poor form and I don’t even know the people who it’s aimed at. Highly insulting in my opinion. |

I've normally got time for your opinions even when I dont agree with them but when you call people cowards for simply making a decision you don't like you really aren't doing yourself any favours. It really isn't a good look. The last word that springs to my mind regarding this window is ‘cowardly’.
Loads of young unproven talent at this level.
Even one or two unknown foreign players to satisfy the ‘overseas is always best’ lobby.
My hope now is that we as a collective have the appropriate amount of gumption and patience to realise that it probably isn’t all going to come together immediately, the next few weeks may be a bit rocky.
Interesting season ahead I feel.

I kind of see things the opposite. Weak angry people lower themselves to insulting strangers on the internet anonymously because they known there will be no repercussions. What a strange playground take on life. Very few people who are not continually imprisoned go around hitting people who disrespect them or say things they don’t like. It’s something most people have learned to live with well before they leave school. I’m quite a provocative chap but I really can’t remember the last time someone(who wasn’t imprisoned and regularly demonstrated a lack of self control) tried to hit me. You must live in a very strange non internet world where violence is a routine ending of any heated argument or disagreement. Barnsley? |

Considering some of the crap that’s been thrown in the direction of Walters (Liar) Schumacher (Coward) and Darnborough (Invisible) I think it would be fair to say the window hasn’t been a complete disaster. It’s not been perfect, it’s been a painfully long process but we’ve signed some seemingly quality players, shipped a couple out and held onto the ones we want to keep. Overall I think it’s a positive window and makes some of the shit slingers on here look a little stoopid. Again. PS Fucking Oasis tickets. Can’t we have some 35+ only gigs to give us at least some chance! I've seen Oasis 3 times and they have been average at best. Save your money and spend £30 watching a decent band instead of paying for his divorce settlement. |
