Considering some of the crap that’s been thrown in the direction of Walters (Liar) Schumacher (Coward) and Darnborough (Invisible) I think it would be fair to say the window hasn’t been a complete disaster.
It’s not been perfect, it’s been a painfully long process but we’ve signed some seemingly quality players, shipped a couple out and held onto the ones we want to keep.
Overall I think it’s a positive window and makes some of the shit slingers on here look a little stoopid. Again.
PS Fucking Oasis tickets. Can’t we have some 35+ only gigs to give us at least some chance!

I think it's really positive that youngsters are clamouring for Oasis tickets, hopefully it may inspire some to pick up a guitar and we may see a shift back towards bands making music and less radio domination by ultra-polished, overhyped industry puppets How much of an old man do I sound? 🤣 |

It looks ok. I think it’s genuinely a toss of the coin which way it goes tbh. If it goes really well it wouldn’t be a shock and if it goes massively tits up it wouldn’t be a shock.
There’s no excuses though. It’s well balanced and if used correctly should be ok.

We seem ok without Gallagher but with Gallagher we are able to change how we are set up if things aren't working. Hopefully we can afford to give him too much time to recover properly and then get him back and staying fit for longer. If he keeps getting injuries he should look at making some lifestyle changes because he must be doing something wrong |

Performances will dictate how good the window was I think that’s a bit of a nonsense. We’ve signed exciting players in the right areas to address our major issue of last season (goals). If the performances don’t come I don’t think that makes it a bad window that’s just being smart in hindsight. Schu has the tools to produce a good season of football, if expectations are kept to a realistic level (much better season than last) hopefully it will be enjoyable to watch. Of course we can hope for more but expect really?? |
