Deal done, couldn’t agree a fee with Wolves for a permanent move, so loan with option to buy agreed. Hoping to get the paperwork completed by 12, as Luke is keen to play tomorrow. Welcome back Luke Well if he’s signs he might be keen to play but on Morans showing mid week he has to start They can both play a part.

Cundle, Koumas, Bae and Million could be very exciting. I would have thought Thompson will be on bench once Lawal is fit,Pearson injured currently and will probably on his way in January window and Sidibe possibly out on loan.

Which would show this club and regime up for what they are. Realistic? Cowards.

Not cowards but it certainly brings into question what Walters has constantly said about creating pathways and not blocking them for our kids. We'll see what 11pm brings.

I don’t understand people saying why sign Cundle when we’ve already got Moran really.
We’ve been proper shit creatively for years now.
Moran looks very bright but if he gets injured then we’re missing real creativity in midfield again. It’s also pretty feasible that both Cundle and Moran start in games. As someone pointed out above he had both Azaz and Cundle playing for Plymouth.

If Seko signs as well we have too many midfielders. We don’t need 8 central midfielders. If Cundle and the Japanese lad sign we will have lost 4 and gained 4 and they are not all “central” midfielders. The only consideration will be “have we improved” the squad and that won’t clear for at least a couple of months. Surely we need more proper defenders, rather than people who can "cover" positions ? Thompson covered LB last season a few times and it wasn't like having a proper LB at all

Sidibe won’t go out on loan this season. He doesn’t turn eighteen till February so is legally still a child, which comes with safeguarding obligations for the receiving club that are more trouble than they’re worth.

He isn't going to play every game, nor should he at that age. He's got plenty of time to develop still before he becomes a regular starter.

You don’t do yourself any favours. You used to actually contribute something to this board and talk occasional sense. Now you’re just boring and irrelevant.

A poster has made a potentially very valid point when saying due to Sol’s age (under 18) it may be difficult to loan him out even if they were considering it.

I do agree with Bayern on this one.
We have Moran PLUS Junho who can play there.
The fact Cundle is coming as a LOAN, means he is expecting to start and personally I would have him behind both those players at the moment.
Dont really see what he offers anything different to at least a couple of players already here.

Could we even see Cundle/Moran axis and go total football?

The feedback on Moran last season was he started off really well and then performances dipped after xmas which is a risk with all the young players so to have options is a good idea to keep them fresh in what is an attritional league

He’s far better on the left at the moment.

Dont really see what he offers anything different to at least a couple of players already here. Injuries, suspensions? Yes then its fine if he understands his role. Moran and Koumas coming as LOANS will be expecting to start most games. Junho is our own little gem. Cundle needs to sit and wait for his turn, thats all. But he left Wolves on loan because he wants to play regular football. This is where loaning players can negatively influence your own squad players.
