Reasons to be cheerful….1,2,3 (add more as you see fit)

It’s been a weird start to the season and there remain more questions than answers…..

…but…..

1. Bae Jun Ho, Million and Koumas - young, exciting and unpredictable (add in Sol, Moran, Tezgel, Dixon etc)

2. Local owners who, while not perfect, know what the club is about and aren’t in it for a quick buck.

3. It’s that exciting time leading into the end of the transfer window when you never know who might show up…

1. Koumas looks an excellent prospect, his movement is just what we need and could well be one of the best loanees we've had in years. Quality finisher.

2. The team are starting to gel following last season, seems to be a better bond there between each other and also the fans.

3. Get the impression that Schumacher has full confidence in the group, isn't worried and knows the task at hand, even if we have lost 2/3 games. I didn't get that impression with Neil.

4. Squad depth is better than last season. Still got a number of injured lads to come back in and contribute: Vidigal, Stevens, Lawal, Gallagher etc. Transfer window still open.

5. In Ben Gibson we have a genuine leader which we have lacked for years.

6. Lots of great work behind the scenes with the street food options, the fanzone, light show. Kudos to Simon King.

Koumas - 1 assist and 1 goal in 62mins

These 2 appearing with each other regularly is an exciting prospect alongside Bae and Manhoef too
