Not sure if this is on the right side of the board, so apologies if not… So I’m off to Madrid with the kids next month, I joined the Madrista thing (£35) thinking tickets wouldn’t be to much of a problem, wow how wrong I was Has anyone been before with any advise? Only tickets I’ve seen are ones scattered about in opposite ends of the ground, which is no good really. I’ve seen the official sponsor offering packages which as you’d expect are very expensive. Thinking do I just accept that’s the way things are now, and pay.. or fly over and see what the ticket office say (after emailing the club, they say that season ticket holders hand back there tickets nearer the Monday, and they sell them on) they also said (they don’t sell out for low key games) which is definitely bollocks because I can’t get any. Unless of course I go on a ticket master type site where they’re just stupid prices I did go with the wife about 20 years ago and just walked upto the ground and paid about £12. How things change eh🤦🏻♂️

I am in Spain and last week watched Madrid away in Mallorca. Totally sold out in all parts of the ground. Be wary of advertised tickets on websites that are not affiliated with the club. The Madrid stadium is amazing and you can get tickets for the tour which is great. Sorry can’t be of any more help. For a genuine ticket expect to pay upwards of 200 euros for anything decent if you can find any.

Looks like I’m going have to go through them and get royally shafted. As you’ve said I’ve been on Madrid’s website expecting it to be like Stoke’s for some reason! It’s got to be the worst website for tickets I’ve ever been on! And becoming a member for £35 is pointless. If it was a trip with mates I’d gamble and just see what’s about as I’d sit anywhere, but with the kids can’t really do that👍🏻

How things change eh🤦🏻♂️ I went with my lad in December - in the end went through the official site, no membership or anything. They were scattered tickets but as I recall I had to keep going back in and clicking on the various sections of the ground and different (single) seats became available. I did that a few times until I got two seats that were close together, but in the event we just sat together anyway and nobody bothered us.. there were a few other vacant seats around us as well. My Plan B was www.footballticketnet.com/ , which I looked into and felt confident enough about. They guarantee you the tickets together but as far as I could tell, often you wouldn't get them until a day or two before the game (maybe as ST holders return theirs?) so it could be a bit squeaky bum. Generally the reviews were ok though. They had tickets for less than 100 euros. Good luck with it

They seem to just disappear when you click on the available blocks. It does seem a really shit way of doing it, il keep looking this week to see how many become available for the next game (I’m going the game after) but just want an idea of how many get given back Problem is I’m going with my 2 lads, my dad, 2 mates and there kids! So long as the kids aren’t sat on there own that’s the main thing. I always thought getting tickets for away days on our website was hard enough.. that Madrid ones a joke

The thread prompted me to look into going to a game at Real Murcia which is pretty near to where I spend quite a lot of time in Spain. Needless to say if I decide to do it I don't expect to encounter such problems. Third tier with a 30,000+ seater stadium.

Been to Barca and Real. And still take the piss out of tourists going to watch The Shit and Liverpool. Not that I'm a hypocrite or anything

Went years ago before we were good. Best thing about it was a bar near by with clay ovens where they cooked suckling pig while you waited. Hoping you kike meat, it’s still there and you stumble upon it.
